Experience: 11 seasons teaching at Alpental. I enjoy teaching people of all ages. I’ve covered the spectrum in my training and certifications: Children’s Ace Accreditation, Senior Specialist Accreditation, PSIA Level 2 Certification, USSA Level 100 Coaches Certification. Oh…did I mention that having FUN is very high on my list?! Background: After “free skiing” for a lot of years at Alpental, I decided that it was time to “give back” to the sport I have so much enthusiasm for. I love coaching for our Buddy Werner program! Our written program objective sums up my passion for teaching:

“If the junior racers leave our program capable of skiing at any resort in the world, and having built what we hope to be a lifelong love for skiing, we will consider ourselves as having accomplished two of our goals. If our racers leave having developed and nurtured a collection of positive character traits that they can rely upon in all aspects of their life we will have accomplished our most important goal.”
