Background: The first time I tried a front flip I stood on top a 20 foot cliff and looked down shaking in terror. At this moment, I realized that snowboarding was much more than just skills and experience. The mind is a powerful tool and must be used appropriately to be a successful snowboarder. Learning the power of the mind and how it works has been one of my greatest interests since becoming a snowboard instructor. I look to connect with every person I ride with on the mountain in a way that will allow us both to be SAFE, have FUN, and LEARN.
