Background: I am most gratified when I can coach a beginner, intermediate, or advance skier to ski in balance. Although I have worked in Law Enforcement for over 38 ½ years, I like working in snow sports more. The adrenaline rush when starting on the top of a black diamond run is similar to the start of a take off on a thirty foot wave at North Beach on the island of Oahu. The dynamic turn in skiing is similar to the dynamic bottom turn one makes on the giant wave. If not done correctly, the result can lead to a wipe out! Oh but what fun it can be.
