Experience: 2 years teaching skiing and snowboarding and lots of experience working with children and teenagers. 5 years working as a wilderness instructor for Outward Bound. PSIA/AASI Certified. Certified Wilderness First Responder, 2009 SLC “Rookie of the Year” at Summit Central.

Background: I started teaching when I was in high school, working at a local pool teaching kids how to swim. Starting with that experience and continuing through college and my years with Outward Bound and as a ski instructor, I have always loved bringing people the joy of understanding. Whether it is helping a 3 year old student balancing on his first gliding run down the bunny slope, or working with a long time skier to finally take that next step up and master a mogul run, these steps and the joy they bring are what keep me coming back.
